DESCRIPTION

To date, this is our only semi-regular run on the northwest side of the lake. We park at 64 Acre Park, which provides access to the Tahoe Rim Trail in the summer as well as to the Truckee River Bike Trail towards Squaw Valley. We've also run the streets in and around Tahoe City in the winter.

Dogs OK on the Rim Trail but not appropriate on the bike path.

There is a pit toilet where we park.

The bike path is an all-road run.

64 Acre Park is located about 1/4 mile south of Fanny Bridge on SR 89 in Tahoe City. If you're coming up SR 89 from South Lake Tahoe then it is on your left just before the bridge.

We usually carpool from Round Hill Safeway.
